Certification Pathway

Lateral Jetting Training Program

Level 1 — Entry Level

Lateral Jetting Assistant / Trainee

Introduction to Oil & Gas operations, HSE fundamentals, surface equipment identification, basic Coiled Tubing concepts, pressure safety, BHA components, rig-up / rig-down support, and operational terminology.

Level 2 — Operator

Certified Lateral Jetting Operator

Hands-on training focused on nozzle operations, milling procedures, Coiled Tubing handling, pressure control, pumping parameters, surface monitoring, troubleshooting, and safe field execution.

Level 3 — Advanced Operator

Advanced Lateral Jetting Specialist

Advanced BHA configuration, multilateral operations, live-well considerations, hydraulic diagnostics, operational failure analysis, real field scenarios, and advanced troubleshooting.

Level 4 — Field Supervisor

Lateral Jetting Field Supervisor

Crew leadership, SIMOPS, risk assessment, HSE management, QA/QC, operational planning, contractor coordination, equipment readiness, and incident prevention.

Level 5 — Company Man

Wellsite Representative / Company Man

Project supervision, contractor management, operational decision-making, reporting, KPI tracking, job acceptance, technical evaluation, and client interface.

Level 6 — Engineering Program

Lateral Jetting Engineering Specialist

Candidate selection, reservoir considerations, lateral design concepts, operational hydraulics, nozzle performance, basic geomechanics, nodal concepts, and post-job technical analysis.
